Samdo Sherpa is wife of Icefall Doctor legend, Angnima Sherpa. She's spent her life taking care of their five children and being a devoted, strong, and supportive wife, all while dealing with the daily reality that her husband could die while he had the most dangerous job on earth on Mt. Everest for 35+ years.
After Angnima's death, Samdo moves to Kathmandu to become a Buddhist nun, and is now in a state of limbo, discouraged to leave by her own free will and not able to see many of her children. The powerful life of Samdo Sherpa, an architype of human strength, attitude, and compassion .
